We are looking for a DevOps Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with 10+ years of experience in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate DevOps methodology into development, deployment, and operations lifecycle;
- Design and implement Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines;
- Provision and maintain infrastructure in private cloud using IaC tools;
- Build, manage, and operate Kubernetes/Openshift clusters;
- Automate changes to infrastructure configuration using a configuration management tool;
- Tune operating systems and applications to increase performance and reliability of services;
- Diagnose system operational problems quickly and effectively;
- Participate in an on-call rotation providing 24-hour, 7-day support, and off-hours maintenance windows;
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in the software industry;
- Experience working with cloud;
- Experience managing Linux/UNIX operating systems in a heterogeneous environment;
- Proficient in scripting using Bash/Python/Go ;
- Familiar with the different software runtimes (e.g. JVM, Nodejs..etc) ;
- Good understanding of relational/non-relational databases, caching and messaging systems;
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform/Ansible..etc) ;
- Experience building & managing CI/CD systems;
- Experience working with containers & Kubernetes at a high scale;
- Strong background in Linux, and TCP/IP Networking;
- An understanding of code review and familiarity with tools like GitHub and GitLab;
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions;
- Experience with Modernization approaches include refactoring into cloud-native microservices;
- Optimize the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to boost service reliability;
- Adopting Cloud-Native Development;
- Preferable if the candidate have good experience in NGINX , REDIS , RABBITMQ;
- Fluency in Arabic is a must.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent;
- 10+ years of experience in the software industry .
